Love the way the clusters of four appliques form an interesting circle when set on point. They don’t do that when in a straight setting.

Another old project file using Electric Quilt Library files and fabrics popular in 1980s, which were reproductions of much older styles.
I am pretty sure that quilts in the original fabrics of this style did not mix up blocks like I do! I was looking for a way to use some blocks several times, but not have to make enough identical blocks for a queen size quilt .

Very interesting. The lighter centre is nice, but the red blocks make it pop.
I would say that all three of these designs are anything but boring.
